SENTA to support Year 3 child with EHCP

Grade:        Hay 10 (SCP 8-11)

Hours per week: 27 hours. Temporary contract subject to the funding ceasing or the child moving to a new setting. (Mon-Thurs: 8.50-12pm; 1-3.20pm, Friday: 8.50-12pm 1-2.50pm)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, patient and pro-active SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 3 learner with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP). Experience and expertise of supporting children in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Developing independence
  • Friendships and social interactions
  • Managing ADHD
  • Regulating emotions
  • Developing fine and gross motor skills

The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, be a real team player, be well organised and be able to communicate effectively with all members of the school community.

SENTA to support transition from Year 2 to Year 3

Grade:        Hay 10 (SCP 8-11)

Hours per week: 17 hrs 30 mins Fixed term until 31st August 2022
(Monday – Friday 11.50pm – 3.20pm)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, patient and pro-active Teaching Assistant to work with our Year 3 learners, particularly supporting individuals with SEND. Experience of working with children with SEND is essential and a secure understanding of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Managing transitions to a new year group / setting
  • Establishing new routines and developing independence
  • Establishing and developing friendships and social interactions
  • Regulating emotions and managing sensory needs
  • Using strategies to support with learners with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Condition

The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, be a real team player, be well organised and be able to communicate effectively with all members of the school community.

The post will be on a fixed term basis for 1 year

Hours per week: 18hrs, Term time only plus 2 inset days.

Wednesday 1pm-4pm, Thursday & Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (30 minutes for lunch)

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Clerical Assistant in our busy and friendly school office.

We would like someone with excellent communication skills, who can prioritise their workload and is good at multi-tasking.

A sound knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and publisher is a necessity and the role also includes the payment of invoices and other financial tasks which require excellent numeracy skills.

Previous experience of working in a school office would be advantageous.

Days/Hours per week: day is negotiable 6.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Lunchbreak Supervisor.
Working alongside the Senior Lunchbreak Supervisor, you will ensure the safety, general welfare and proper conduct of the pupils during this lunch period. The successful candidate will enjoy working and interacting with young children and have a positive and caring approach.
